Lakewood Neighborhood Book Swap Needs Your Help!

The Lakewood Neighborhood Book Swap is currently raising funds to help improve our swap! As it is right now, our swap can difficult for our co-founder to set up on a daily basis. Heather has severe extensive back injuries that will unfortunately never heal, as well as osteogenesis imperfecta (brittle bone disease). However, our hope and prayer is to raise enough money to purchase rolling shelving units, as well as supplies for new signs that won't be stolen again!

We have a modest goal of $200, but quite honestly if we can reach $100 we'll be able to get most of what we need. Anything else will be a bonus and help us create a bigger book swap for our community! Whatever we raise, if we do have excess funds, we will be donating the excess to local charities that promote literacy!

How can you help?
1. Donate to our IndieGoGo Campaign at http://igg.me/at/lakewoodneighborhoodbookswap/x/3735056 We would prefer donations via Paypal, as we receive those funds immediately!
2. Purchase from our Tupperware fundraiser at http://order.tupperware.com/pls/htprod_www/!twx$eparty_ctl.p_guest_welcome?pv_eparty=ebe867cae948aa3ee8ab140e778590f6 40% of all sales go to our book swap, PLUS it helps Heather, who is currently unemployed with her Tupperware business as her only source of income. AS A BONUS, if you purchase from our Tupperware fundraiser, you'll also receive a bonus gift with every purchase!
3. Spread the word! Share our explanatory note from our FB fanpage at https://www.facebook.com/notes/lakewood-neighborhood-book-swap/our-1st-fundraiser/1419287834951758 , join our event at https://www.facebook.com/events/373527786083739/ & invite your friends, post our links to all your social networks!

As always, we thank you for your support!

Blogging: A Full Time Job

Blogs can be one of the greatest investments a business can have. Social media requires an online presence, however having a blog can be a veritable One Stop Shop of information, news, events, and sales for your customers, both current and potential. With a blog you can share all aspects of your business that you want to, and entertain your readers as well.

However, many business owners fail to realize that maintaining your blog can be a full time job in and of itself. Blogging involves posting meaningful content and maintaining the comments and conversations. Blogging also involves many hours of research and photography, and posting meaningful content requires excellent writing skills.

Short posts are a great way to keep content flowing on your blog, however you should also be working on long posts, ones that resemble full length magazine articles.

At TechMom Solutions, we understand that blogging is not for everybody. We offer social media packages for all businesses, and blogging is just one of the services we gladly offer. Designing and creating a blog, writing blog posts of all lengths, and even photography are just a few of the blogging services we offer.
